'Martin's Course'

s I was commissioned to paint a golf scene on a wall in a lanai/home in Florida....... this was the largest painting that I have accomplished. The reference image was 3" x 4" and the wall was 10 feet x 14 feet!!!!! I started with underpaintings of blue and yellow to show thru the overpainting and then proceeded to paint in the rest...............I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge, the weekend and the experience, including the 9 holes of golf that we got in. Day 117 'After the Rain' The weather changes constantly, but the beauty after the rain and the sunshines again is fleeting, but wonderful........Reflections appear with the water left from the rain, there is a haze and feeling of something that you don't want to let go and then they are gone. ...... It kind of reminds me of life, and how everything could be so good and sunny until a dark cloud looms with rain of some sort and stormy clouds, but it leaves a different feeling and alot to reflect on and remember.
