I consider myself an experimental artist. This piece is a prime example, using the techniqe of montotype print which is a one of a kind original with the media of Merlot Wine and Acrylic paint. The wine gives it a very different appearance and works well as the glass of wine and flowers for the table. This piece is a perfect setting to the start of a great meal. Enjoy!

One would think this would be a 'Meet Me' painting..... but it has different origins....the concept was created as an elaborate ink drawing created from my mind during a very boring meeting a long time ago. I doodled on an email that we were working from for the meeting. You can see some of the email detail in the left corner. I enlarged the email, transferred the detail and painted. I always wanted to bring the ink doodles to life in a painting and finally did....it only took by 8 years to do it! I normally paint from life, so this was a fun detour. Enjoy!
